Okay I can't almost breathe cause I'm doing the cyclette! :) Yes, we have a gym in our home! I haven't bene practising for one week and I think I gained weight... Or maybe It's just the gluten... I don't know actually... :) It's harder then I thought staying here... Just because they have a completely different way of living! They have different rules and they don't any public transport system so I depend on jayme and dwight and ann! And that sucks because we're Not indipendent at all! The school is harder than I thought and I need to change my latin class with IMPACT where We have just to sit in a circle and talk about anything and it would be the Perfect class for me because I really need to talk! However I made some friends! One of them is Sandra! She is so sweet and nice But she's a junior and till november we can't drive with her! I usually have lunch with her and Mag and Marta, the two danish exchange students! the school is hard and honesly I don't know if I'm good enough But I just need a C to be safe :) I truly get on with Ann at the moment.. She loves me and I love her! :) The really positive thing is that I have many friends considering that I have been here for just one week! Speaking about school... It's so cool! This week is the homecoming week and Everyday there is a theme... Like tie dye day or 80's and some stuff like that!!! Today was the cavern day ahah But I didn't have the right clothes so I'm just ready for the tie dye, tomorrow!! We're painted a white t-shirt with many colores and honestly I thought that the result would have been a mess, instead it was impressive!! Ahah... I have so many things to say But I can't even remember one of them!! Oh, I haven't seen moose yet!!!! That's insane!!! Here people have moose and bears in their Yard! I hope I'll see a moose yet!! If you have ANY question please, write it below in the comment because I want that Everybody can see it! Probably everyone of you has the same question and I can't repeat the same thing thousands of time! Understood? :) I haven't so much time to stay on fb... Lost of hugs and kisses from the cold Alaska! It's really cold here But.. You know what?? We have a hot tub in our deck and we stay in bikini all the even ing. And maybe night!!! I'll do a video... It's so relaxing...

Ma a che ora iniziano le lezioni lì?Ci sembra che stai facendo molti progressi nell'inglese scritto! Le alci e gli orsi lasciali pure nei giardini degli altri!!Come vanno le altre materie?Cosa diranno i professori quando gli dovrai spiegare cos'è l'impact??ahahahahahahah!!Come era prevedibile le difficoltà ci sono ma sei tosta abbastanza per superarle alla grande, comunque sembra che te la stai cavando benoneeeee..Papà vedrà come aiutarti per il video.Anche qui il tempo non è più bello,piove spesso,forse è migliore da te!un grosso bacione da mamma e papà.A sentirci presto.
RispondiEliminaZuma la facciamo solo una volta a settimana! Praticamente è psicologia IMPACT! Studiamo cosa vuol dire conseguenza, cosa implica una decisione... È interessante! Ora mi trovo un po' in difficolta perchè qui hanno un modo diverso di concepire i compiti a casa e spesso non capisco nemmeno quali sono! Tipo, per lunedì ho 50 pagine di mitologia da studiare e non so come farò! Ho tanti compiti... Mica cone dicevano i miei professori... Qua si lavora e non poco!

troppo per il latino.
Ritengo infatti che tu abbia una buona
preparazione di base, almeno per quanto riguarda
la grammatica e l' uso del vocabolario,
il che ti consente di cavartela comunque,
anche se con la sufficienza.
Il vero problema, secondo me,
non è tanto il latino
in sè per sè ma la difficoltà a
seguire le lezioni in inglese
ed a capire i testi scritti
anch' essi in inglese
( immagino che questo ostacolo riguardi
soprattutto la letteratura latina più che le
traduzioni e le versioni, non è così ? ) .
Questo discorso circa la interpretazione
dei contenuti in lingua straniera penso sia valido anche per le altre materie.
Tieni conto che rispetto ai tuoi coetanei americani avrai sempre
un " handicap " linguistico che
ti svantaggerà e renderà
più faticoso lo studio.
Cerca quindi di fare quello che riesci
a fare secondo le tue possibilità
ed i tuoi limiti.
Nessuno ti chiede grandi sforzi.
In fondo, mica è colpa tua se sei italiana...

Sinceramente ora come ora se leggo in latino non ci capisco nulla perchè è come se mi aspettassi che le parole latine avessero il significato di quelle inglesi! Ad ogni modo o dovuto cambiare perchè le traduzioni letterali con i loro tempi verbali, che sono diversi, nn riuscivo proprio a farle!
EliminaPoi traducevamo l'eneide che non è proprio lineare... Insomma non era una buona idea quella del latino! Avevo sottovalutato il livello di istruzione nella scuola americana! :) non voglio stressarmi troppo qua perchè non mi fa bene e mi rovinerebbe solo l'esperienza! Quindi ho preferito cambiare! :) grazie comunque dei consigli! :)
